The College of Manresa celebrates 100 years of history and commitment to the commercial profession

The Chamber of Commerce of Manresa hosted the commemorative act of the Centenary of the Official College of Commercial Agents of Manresa, a day of recognition of the professionals of the demarcation and of look at the new challenges of the sale.

The Official College of Commercial Agents of Manresa has commemorated its Centenary (1926-2026) with a day dedicated to highlighting the trajectory of professionals who, over these hundred years, have contributed to the development of the commercial profession.

The event, held in the Chamber of Commerce of Manresa, had as one of the central moments the delivery of diplomas to the members of the demarcation, in recognition of his career, dedication and commitment to the profession.

The commemoration also looked to the future with the conference “The keys to success in selling in a digital world”, given by Luca Chiesa, which addressed the new challenges and opportunities that digital transformation poses to commercial professionals.

The event was attended by Marc Aloy Guàrdia, mayor of Manresa; Sílvia Gratacòs, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Manresa; Ricard Penas Babot, president of the COACB; Carme Ferran Sanz, vice president of the COACB, and Salvador Portabella, president of the College of Manresa.

The celebration of the Centenary has allowed us to look back and recognize the trajectories that have made these 100 years of history possible, but also to claim the validity of a profession essential for economic and business activity and its ability to adapt to new sales models.

One hundred years after its foundation, the College of Manresa continues alongside commercial professionals and faces the future with the same commitment to the profession.
